Welding method of filter cartridge
As we all know, the filter cartridge is used to filter gas media and liquid media, but many people really don't know how to weld. Today, I'll summarize and share with you.
Before welding, in order to ensure the dimensional accuracy and welding effect of the filter cartridge, a set of molds needs to be customized. This set of molds is a copper bar. A copper bar is made according to the inner diameter of the filter cartridge and installed on the welding machine. The joint is spot welded or roll welded. Lap welding is the most commonly used, but butt welding of stainless steel wire mesh is required in some industries, For example, argon arc welding machine can be used when stainless steel wire diameter is thick, laser welding machine can be used when wire diameter is thin, and silver welding is another kind of welding, but this kind of welding requires high technology and expensive materials, which is commonly used in special industries such as paper industry.
The simplest and most practical is lap welding. Lap welding is to overlap the stainless steel wire mesh together, and then weld with a professional seam welder. The seam welder in our factory adopts microcomputer control and pneumatic device to automatically weld the stainless steel wire mesh. The welding seam of this stainless steel wire mesh filter cylinder is beautiful and firm, and the weld presents stainless steel white metal mark.
It should be noted that the temperature, speed and strength should be well controlled when welding the filter cartridge, so that the product with beautiful welding process and firm welding can be produced.
